Whenever I acquire a new camera or lens I have gotten into the habit of asking Tamara to be the subject of the first frame, it’s become something of a superstition.

Now I’ve mentioned that this isn’t one of those occasions, rather it is an outtake from an ongoing project where I shoot Tamara upon waking, no preparation, no preplanning, just spur of the moment.
Sadly the project has been on something of a hiatus recently, we are no longer woken with the glorious light we grew accustomed to in Moscow or Paris, the grey light of northern England just isn’t the same.
I’m sure at some point we will start again, it was a fun project that we didn’t take too seriously and it would be sad to just abandon it altogether.
