Tamara with Soviet Rangefinder

I mentioned in an earlier post that Tamara is always the first subject whenever I acquire a new camera.
In this instance I had just bought an old Leica with Summitar lens on impulse from a shop in Paris and was eager to try it so loaded up film I had with me -damaged Polypan f – and shot off a short roll.
The camera was a bit sticky on certain speeds, something it turned out that was caused by shredded film and easily fixed, the lens was and is still seriously gummed up requiring a lot of strength to change aperture.
But it worked and for the price I paid I couldn’t complain.
